Matty Crawford is an award-winning British Filipino writer-director based in London. He is a 2018 Sundance Ignite Fellow and graduate of the National Film and Television School in the UK. His short films have gone to broadcast on Channel 4 and Sky Arts, whilst collecting a number of awards including a BFI Future ‘New Talent Award’, and a ‘Best Live Action Short’ at Oscar qualifying Warsaw Film Festival. His latest short film, STOMACH BUG, was developed with BBC Film and had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, followed by a screening at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival, where it was nominated for 'Best Short Film'. Matty is represented for Film & TV by Nina Amini and Sophia Zhang at Casarotto Ramsay & Associates in the UK.
